This week is Capitol Hill week at the FBA. We have several meetings with Congressional and Senators scheduled. The FBA SDNY would like to thank every individual and organization that made this possible.


Thank you to Alexandra Lowe-Server in Senator Kirsten Gillibrand’s office for meeting with the Federal Bar Association SDNY Chapter and the FBA EDNY leadership and their members.  We greatly appreciate Senator Gillibrand’s support of the issues of important to our nation’s federal courts (e.g., security of federal judges, creating more judgeships to assist with heavy dockets; overhauling PACER; funding of federal courts; establishing independent immigration court; and  modernize the FBA Foundation’s charter. The leadership and members of the Federal Bar Association SDNY Chapter and FBA EDNY Chapter had a great Capitol Hill Day meeting with House Representative Adriano Espaillat (NY-13). Rep. Espaillat listened to our concerns regarding the judiciary and federal courts and actively engaged us in conversation.
